Assessors
The assessors panel is chaired by the Technical Director and consists of a panel of security research experts who, in addition to passing the exam themselves, have undergone rigorous additional selection. All of the assessors are employed by industry leading security research companies.
The assessors are responsible for the definition of the CREST syllabus and the design and operation of the examination environment.
The assessors’ panel reports directly to the CREST board, however due to the obviously very sensitive nature of the work carried out by the assessors, specific technical information about the CREST examination is strictly controlled and available only to the assessors group.
