Applying for SOC Accreditation
Two levels of membership are available.
The first – Externally Validated – is awarded on successful completion of both the application form and onsite audit.
The second – Technically Assessed – will be awarded on successful completion of the application form, onsite audit and technical assessment.
The first level of membership is available now the second is due in the near future.
SOC Assessment Criteria
A detailed and comprehensive SOC Assessment Criteria has been created and is used for the Application Form and Onsite Audit stages of the accreditation. The Assessment Criteria looks at six key areas of a SOC:
- Organisational Environment
- Customer Requirements
- Technology and Tools
- Event Analysis
- Threat Intelligence & Situational Awareness
- Protecting the SOC

All applications must be made through the portal. Once you login you will be able to apply for the SOC accreditation, as well as all other CREST disciplines.
