AI x Cybersecurity Summit 2025
Post-event resources
Exploring the intersection of AI and cybersecurity.
Last month at the AI x Cybersecurity Summit in Singapore, our Asia Council Representative, John Lloyd, shared insights on “Raising the Standard: The Value of CREST Certifications in your Cybersecurity Career”.
John highlighted how our globally recognised certifications are contributing to the development of maturing cyber ecosystems across Asia and beyond, supporting both individual career growth and the overall development of the cybersecurity workforce.
He also joined a fireside chat discussing the impact of AI on critical infrastructure, healthcare, and finance, and the evolving skills needed to defend against AI-driven threats.
Thank you to our Training Partner, NTUC LearningHub, for organising the event and providing the opportunity to collaborate. We look forward to strengthening this partnership.
We are a Supporting Organisation at NTUC LearningHub’s AI x Cybersecurity Summit!
CREST at AI x Cybersecurity Summit
Our Asia Council Member, John Lloyd, will represent CREST at two different sessions in the afternoon:
- Raising the Standard: The Value of CREST Certifications in Your Cybersecurity Career, from 14:30 to 14:45.
- This session highlights how CREST certifications set a global benchmark for technical excellence and professional standards in the cybersecurity industry. Attendees will learn how these certifications validate skills, enhance career prospects, and help organisations build trust in an evolving threat landscape.
- Fireside Chat: “Defending Against AI-Powered Threats: Is Your Cybersecurity Strategy Ready?”, from 16:00 to 17:00.
- As AI becomes both a tool for attackers and defenders, this topic explores the emerging threat landscape, such as deepfake phishing, automated recon and exploits, and AI-driven malware. It can also dive into how defenders can use AI for SOC automation, anomaly detection, and faster incident response.
About the event
Organisations are increasingly vulnerable as AI is reshaping the cyber threat landscape. During Exercise SG Ready 2025*, nearly 1 in 3 employees opened a simulated phishing email, revealing a critical gap in workforce cyber awareness.
Cybercriminals are leveraging AI to craft highly-convincing phishing emails that easily bypass traditional security filters. To strengthen organisational resilience, workforce must upskill employees to mitigate AI-driven cyber threats and navigate the risks of adversarial AI.
Join NTUC LearningHub and gain the latest threat insights from industry leaders and discover how to safeguard your workforce against AI-generated cyber threats with practical resilience strategies.
See you there!
