DESCRIPTION:CREST is bringing Singapore’s cybersecurity community together for an afternoon of practical insight\, honest discussion and professional networking focused on one of the sector’s most pressing challenges: how organisations can adopt artificial intelligence securely while responding to its rapidly evolving risks. \nThe event is designed to move beyond theory and explore what organisations and practitioners are seeing on the frontline today. \nHosted by the IMDA at its Mapletree Business City offices\, the event is held under the Chatham House Rule. Lessons from the cybersecurity frontline: securing and adopting AI provides a trusted environment for practitioners to share real-world experiences\, lessons learned\, and practical approaches to securing\, governing\, and adopting AI technologies. \nCall for speakers now open\nCREST is inviting cybersecurity practitioners and subject-matter experts from across Singapore to contribute to the programme. \nWe are particularly interested in practitioner-led presentations that share real experiences\, technical insights\, lessons learned and practical recommendations relating to the secure adoption and use of AI. \nPotential topics could include: \n\nSecuring enterprise adoption of generative AI\nAI-enabled cyberattacks and emerging threat techniques\nPenetration testing and assurance of AI systems\nPrompt injection\, model manipulation and data leakage\nRed teaming AI applications and large language models\nUsing AI within security operations\, incident response or threat intelligence\nGovernance\, risk and compliance considerations\nProtecting sensitive information when using AI tools\nBuilding organisational readiness for AI-related incidents\nCase studies\, failures and lessons learned from real-world deployments\nThe changing skills required of cybersecurity professionals\nResponsible innovation and maintaining trust in AI systems\n\nSubmissions should offer genuine educational value and should not be product- or sales-led. \nYou do not need to be an experienced conference speaker. CREST community events are intended to provide a welcoming platform for new and established voices\, diverse perspectives and practitioners who have valuable experiences to share. \nSubmit a speaker proposal to faye.percival@crest-approved.org by the 19th of August.
