CREST CAMP - DFAT

What is CREST CAMP - DFAT?

Following the launch of two successful CREST Accelerated Maturity Programmes (CAMP) this third round funded by theAustralian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), will be delivered inIndonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Through a combination of self-assessment, gap analysis, and in-country mentorship from CREST Members in Australia, the programme provides a structured pathway for organisations to evaluate and improve their cyber security maturity, with a selected few companies receiving additional tailored support.

Who can join?

Indonesia and Vietnam

The funding is open to private cyber security service providers that deliver cyber security services as their primary offering to external clients. Eligible organisations must be legally registered in Indonesia or Vietnam and actively providing cyber security solutions such as penetration testing, incident response, security operations, or threat intelligence.

Places are limited, and priority will be given to organisations that demonstrate a clear commitment to cyber security development.

Successful organisations should complete the programme by 30 June 2025.

Thailand

The funding will also be supporting selected training organisations in Thailand, enabling them to deliver training courses for our certifications to candidates.

Please note: Training centres have already been nominated for this part of the funding, and we are in the process of finalising the chosen centres.

What to expect

If your organisation is selected to participate, you will receive detailed onboarding instructions outlining the next steps and how to get started. The funding programme for cyber security organisations in Indonesia or Vietnam is divided into three key stages, with varying levels of support based on your organisation’s progress and needs.

  1. Pathway (20 places available) – this stage serves as an entry point for your organisation to demonstrate your commitment to meeting international standards. If your organisation is chosen to take part in the programme, you will be asked to complete the Pathway Onboarding form.
  2. Pathway+ (10 places available) – if your organisation demonstrates sufficient progress in the Pathway stage, you may apply for Pathway+, which offers additional structured support. At this stage, you will be asked to complete two parts of a self-assessment aimed at evaluating your organisation’s technical and organisational capabilities.
  3. Mentoring (5 places available) – a select few organisations will be paired with a CREST-accredited organisation, who will provide in-country, tailored guidance on closing identified gaps and strengthening methodologies, internal policies, and technical skills.
