Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), this first cohort of CREST CAMP accelerates the growth and maturity of cyber security service providers across 11 countries:

This innovative programme empowers organisations by equipping them with the essential tools, knowledge, and mentorship required to meet international cyber security standards and thrive in an increasingly interconnected digital economy.

At its heart, CREST CAMP – FCDO is committed to fostering long-term sustainability by embedding global best practices into the national cyber security ecosystems of participating countries. The programme adopts a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach that guides companies through critical stages of development, utilising self-assessments, gap-analysis reports, structured mentoring, and opportunities for certification. It ensures that local cyber security service providers have well-defined roadmaps for growth, enabling them to strengthen their market positioning — locally, regionally, and globally.

CREST CAMP-FCDO strengthens regional cyber security talent pipelines and the resilience of national and regional digital infrastructures by creating a local pool of highly skilled professionals capable of addressing complex cyber threats.

By forging strategic partnerships with educational institutions in Kenya, Georgia, Bahrain, and Malaysia, and providing official CREST course materials and coaching to training providers, we are creating a sustainable model for skill development that continues to benefit the region long after the initial training is completed.

This enables CREST CAMP participants and other local professionals to gain practical, industry-relevant skills directly applicable to real-world challenges.

• Participants onboarded: cyber organisations from 11 countries onboarded at various stages of the Accreditation Pathway.
• Mentor match-making: participants have been successfully matched with CREST-accredited mentors.
• Training partners established: academic institutions or training centres from four countries delivering CREST-aligned practitioner courses have come onboard to support the programme.
• Training initiatives: cyber security professionals have been trained and certified through CREST-aligned courses in Kenya, Georgia, Malaysia, and Bahrain.
