CMC Telecom officially becomes a Member of CREST, a leading global cyber security accreditation organisation

On 1^st July 2025, CMC Telecom was officially awarded the CREST certification for its penetration testing (Pentest) services, marking its official membership in CREST – a globally recognised authority in cyber security assessment standards.

CREST is a prestigious international organisation that certifies penetration testing services based on rigorous standards, emphasising technical competence, transparent methodologies, and ethical practices. Recognised as the premier standard in cyber security testing, CREST accreditation not only validates the expertise and professionalism of CMC Telecom’s technical team but also underscores the company’s strong commitment to delivering world-class cyber security services.

To achieve this certification, CMC Telecom underwent a comprehensive and stringent evaluation process over several months. The company’s cybersecurity experts were required to pass intensive technical examinations and implement international-standard procedures for security testing, risk management, and information protection.

To meet CREST requirements, team members must hold internationally recognised certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, and CREST CRT, and adhere to globally accepted testing methodologies like the OWASP Testing Guide and PTES (Penetration Testing Execution Standard). The team has demonstrated its capabilities across a broad spectrum of environments, including networks, servers, web applications, mobile platforms, cloud systems, and IT infrastructure.
