These are designed to better support our diverse community and create more opportunities for knowledge sharing, peer connection, and informed discussion.

The CRESTCon Australia Community Day 2026 will take place on Wednesday, 13 May at the Hilton Sydney. Join us for a day of knowledge exchange with technical experts and networking with the wider Australian cybersecurity community.

The theme for the day is Threat Intelligence: From Signals to Strategy, with a focus on how intelligence is gathered, analysed, and used in real-world environments to stay ahead of adversaries and strengthen cyber resilience.

Whether you are just beginning your career in cybersecurity or are experienced in the field, this event will offer a great opportunity to hear the latest insights on emerging trends that shape the industry, and to meet with your peers from across the region.

Call for Papers

This is a day for the technical cybersecurity community. We are looking for speakers to share real-world experiences that bring Threat Intelligence to life.

This is your opportunity to step away from your day job and theory and showcase what actually works in practice. We are particularly interested in sessions that explore:

• How intelligence has informed or changed an engagement, operation, or outcome
• Lessons learned from live environments, incidents, or adversary behaviour
• Techniques, tooling, or methodologies that have advanced your approach
• The intersection of Threat Intelligence with penetration testing, red teaming, SOC operations, or incident response
• What is changing in the threat landscape, and how practitioners are adapting in real time

Submissions are welcome from individuals at all stages of their career, both locally and internationally.
