About the event

BSides Melbourne aims to target participants from all areas of Information Security – seasoned professionals, students, graduates, new professionals, or anyone keen to expand their body of knowledge. People who attend BSides have various backgrounds in different sectors and verticals. Their common goal is to learn about emerging issues and connect with those around them.

This conference is made up of a bunch of infosec friends with 20+ years behind them who simply want to make a positive impact on the Melbourne community. They are driven by sharing information, have a huge passion for growth in the industry, where researchers can present their work in a friendly and welcoming environment, and everybody has an opportunity to learn and network.
