Member Press Release

UK / SOUTH AFRICA – [7th May 2026] – KHIPU Networks Limited, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, is proud to announce it has been independently assessed and assured against the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Cyber Incident Response (CIR) Standard. In a dual milestone for the company’s incident response capabilities, KHIPU has also achieved CREST Accredited Member status for Incident Response.

This dual recognition distinguishes organisations that have demonstrated the capability, governance, and technical competence to deliver high-standard cyber managed detection and incident response services.

This milestone further signals the evolution of KHIPU’s Security Operations Centre (SOC) capabilities which leverage industry-leading security and AI-driven tools – including Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex portfolio – to augment its robust proactive service delivery.

By integrating advanced AI-driven cybersecurity tooling, KHIPU has enhanced and expanded its SOC capabilities, broadening its service portfolio and increasing coverage to deliver continuous monitoring, faster and more accurate threat detection, automated investigation, and effective response to sophisticated and ever-evolving cyber threats. The continual tooling and staff development investment, combined with the company’s Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation, underscores a broader commitment to continuous improvement across its 24×7 service architecture.

Independent validation of the KHIPU SOC

This achievement is a rigorous validation of KHIPU’s Cyber Command Division, responsible for delivering a portfolio of cyber assessment, threat protection, and prevention services. The assurance demonstrates that KHIPU’s monitoring, detection, and incident response processes – from initial identification to full remediation – align with the NCSC’s requirements, giving customers reassurance in their ability to respond effectively to serious, large-scale cyber incidents.

By achieving CREST Membership, KHIPU further confirms its commitment to the CREST framework, which ensures it can consistently provide high-standard Incident Response, maintaining a collective commitment to capability and consistency in the cybersecurity industry.

“This recognition is a testament to the technical discipline of our people and the maturity of our internal controls. For our customers, it provides independent assurance that our incident response services have been assessed against nationally and internationally recognised frameworks, giving customers confidence in our capability to respond to cyber incidents.”

– Gareth Trollip, Associate Director: Cyber Command at KHIPU Networks

“Congratulations to KHIPU on this achievement. We are pleased to welcome them as a CREST Accredited Member company for Incident Response – demonstrating the high standards that we look for in our member organisations – and puts them in a strong position to take advantage of the growing demand for high-quality incident response services.”

– Nick Benson, CEO at CREST

Cyber Command – meeting threat landscape demands

NCSC CIR assurance and CREST Membership come at a critical time. As cyber-attacks grow in scale and sophistication, organisations are looking for trusted, AI-driven security partners that work collaboratively as one team, delivering proven operational excellence and 24×7 managed detection and response.

KHIPU’s Cyber Command Division was founded on these principles, with a clear focus on proactive cyber resilience. A key milestone was the establishment of a specialist Agentic AI and Automation SecOps division, working in close collaboration with the SOC teams. This joint capability was integral to meeting and sustaining the NCSC’s exacting incident response and operational assurance requirements.

Cyber Command provides a range of threat protection and prevention services including:

KHIPU’s continued mission

The attainment of NCSC CIR assurance and CREST Membership marks a significant milestone in KHIPU’s mission to build a more secure global infrastructure. As Cyber Command continues to evolve, the focus remains on delivering the highest level of maturity in cyber defence, supporting clients to strengthen their cyber resilience.
