[April 2026] CREST has introduced a new Security Architecture accreditation, recognising organisations that demonstrate capability in secure architecture and design across complex technology environments.

This accreditation responds to growing market demand for secure‑by‑design approaches, and to member feedback on the need to clearly demonstrate capability to buyers. 

Why Secure Architecture?

The new accreditation provides a clear, independent way to validate this capability, helping organisations evidence their competence to buyers and differentiate in an increasingly competitive market. 

Supporting members to adopt early 

To support existing members to take advantage of this opportunity, CREST is waiving the application fee for this additional discipline. This means members can add additional Accredited Capabilities to their membership at no extra cost, with no additional joining fee or annual membership fees. 

As organisations place greater emphasis on effective security architecture across complex and interconnected environments, the ability to evidence capability in design and implementation is becoming increasingly important for giving clients confidence in provider capability.”
