Last week, our Asia team and Malaysian Council Representatives had an incredible few days of insightful discussions and connections at CYDES 2025 in Malaysia.

Here are some of our highlights:

– Our Asia Council Chair, BK Soon, took part in a fireside chat on exploring how Malaysia can balance the benefits of AI adoption and safeguarding national cyber resilience in an increasingly digital and interconnected landscape.

– We had a great evening catching up with some of our Malaysian Members – BAE Systems, Casaba Security, EC-Council Global Services, FIRMUS, NetAssist, PwC Malaysia, softScheck APAC, SysArmy, and Vigilant Asia.

– We were delighted to present Ir. Dr.Megat Zuhairy Megat Tajuddin, CEO of the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA), Malaysia, with a CREST plaque of appreciation acknowledging our ongoing collaboration with NACSA.

A big thank you to the Prime Minister’s Department, National Security Council (NSC), and NACSA Malaysia for hosting, the organising committee Alpine Group Services, and everyone who has helped make the event a success.

About the Conference

CYDES 2025 is the 3rd edition of Malaysia’s National Cyber Defence & Security Exhibition and Conference, hosted by the Government of Malaysia’s Prime Minister’s Department, National Security Council (NSC), and National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA). This conference is a regional cyber security platform expanding beyond national efforts for the cyber security community to address emerging threats, showcase cutting-edge innovations, and foster international collaboration.

With Malaysia assuming the ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025, CYDES 2025 is positioned as a pivotal event to drive collective action against cyber threats and reinforce Malaysia’s leadership in regional cyber security initiatives.

The event will highlight the importance of forward-thinking approaches, technological advancements, and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen cyber security on national, regional, and global levels under the theme “Advancing Cyber Resilience”.
