Predatech achieves CREST accreditation for Penetration Testing

Predatech, a Manchester-based cyber security consultancy, has successfully achieved CREST accredited member status. CREST is recognised globally as the cyber assurance body for the technical security industry.

Launched in 2020, Predatech has helped to improve the cyber security posture of over one hundred organisations across the UK, including banks, hospices, and technology scale-ups. Organisations work with Predatech’s cyber security experts to test their applications and IT systems for vulnerabilities that could allow malicious individuals to compromise systems, access sensitive data, or hold the organisation to ransom.

Jason Johnson, Predatech Co-Founder and Lead Penetration Tester said, “Becoming a CREST accredited member for penetration testing is a great start to the year for the business. This accreditation is a major milestone for us as it provides external recognition of the high standards that we hold ourselves too and that our clients rightly demand.”

“We are pleased to welcome Predatech as the latest UK company to achieve CREST accreditation,” said Rowland Johnson, President of CREST. “This fast-growing business demonstrates high standards in manual penetration testing, which has been validated through the CREST accreditation process. CREST accreditation requires rigorous assessment of business processes, data security and testing methodologies, putting Predatech in a strong position alongside other CREST members to take advantage of the growing demand for high quality penetration testing services.”
